We know some of you are missing Lisa, and so are we! But no worries, she's not going anywhere! Besides a very busy summer, unfortunately she's also had a very sick family member and has been traveling back and forth helping out. Hopefully she'll be back here scrapping and challenging you all soon. Until then though, we wish her and her family the best.

Hello ladies

Just popping in to tell you that i am home ....for now
i never know what each day will bring with my sister so i may have to leave at any moment again to go stay at hospital with her.


I have a LOT of work to catch up on and i promise i will get caught up and then get back into the groove of working and challenges again. Hopefully things will get much easier soon.

This summer has been filled with our vacation then going into wrecking the camper, having sister, sister-in law and uncle all in Critical care at once, my fridge going out, laptop crashing ( yes posting on my new one right now), and to top it off....the condensation line from my air conditioner leaking because apparently when they fixed our roof they put a nail through it so when it got clogged and backed up to there it started leaking .....have to replace roof and walls behind the vanity in daughters room upstairs and the ceiling in the garage.....
my sister is still in the hospital and each day is different...some are good (not many though)
right now she seems to be coherent and healing.
I am having health issues right now too but that is the last thing on my mind...lol
anyhows i know this is kinda vague but i need to get a little bit more done tonight and then have to get some sleep cause although i still have tons of stuff to do i still have to do the things my little girls need to and tomorrow i have to be at their school at 7:30 am...uggg
i will try to come back in and talk some more asap
but i know you all want me to get to work too....lol

Thanks for the update Lisa and for letting us know how things are going. I can't believe how many computer crashes have occured in the DSP family recently......knocking on wood here. Sending prayers and good wishes for you and your loved ones. Sounds like you've all been through a rough spot! Hope you are able to get back on track with us soon!!!

I know Lisa has not been around, but I just wanted to ask if anyone ever received the posting bonuses from the June Challenge? I am assuming they haven't been sent yet because Lisa hasn't had time to work on them. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't only me.....

I also missed the May bonus-bonus for doing all the kits and the June bonus-bonus for doing all 4 kits.

u r welcome Sandy. as you may have noticed, i am not able to attend most chats, and so i am not too worried about lisas chats resuming, but i do not have all her kits...at one time i did....but, she sort of took a powder one time before. after that, i didnt really attend hers regular. i did love her kits tho and finally came back around. i think the store should give us all gift certificates for her stuff....let us just collect the promiced bonus' and then, see what happens when she does come back. it seems like it would be wierd if she came back to a pile of work to do that she hasnt done in months. that way she could start fresh and we could all just forget about it until her return. i know she has reasons, and i know we all are understanding, but its time for the site to deal with this on behalf of their customers in my opinion. yikes, did i really say that?

I know what you mean Maria. I keep a BIG calendar on my wall. It is the size of a desk blotter. I list all the challenges I plan to do, then I check off the ones I have completed and uploaded, and place a "B" next to those that will earn bonuses. Once I receive the bonus, I circle the "B" to indicate that I received the bonus. When I move to the next month on the calendar, I make a note (my calendar has rroom for notes at the bottom) listing the challenges from the prior month(s) that I am owed bonuses for.

Occasionally I forget to mark a bonus that I have received, which is why I like to check if I missed it, got it.....or it just hasn't been sent yet.....

PS......I am a Virgo. That should explain it all. :lol::lol::lol:
