If you need more info about the Creative Crops Challenge Look Here (http://digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=27381)

NOTE:There has been a change in my challenges. You no longer have to post a link in my thread. I know that you ladies do double duty and often are pretty busy just like myself so just be sure that you post your layout in the creative crops gallery within the dates listed ending at 12 midnight EST and you will get your posting bonus. I hope this makes it easier for some of you who may forget to post a link in the thread or dont have time but have put your layout in the creative crops gallery.

The Challenge:

This time try and use your favorite font.

As always this is your prompt not required to get your bonus.

Ok now the challenge kit is:
Tea Treasures you can get it here (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=8669)

Posting Bonus: Build your own Bonus!

Help build your own bonus by making suggestions in this thread. I will update you as it comes along with each new element that has been chosen from your suggestions. Feel free to suggest as many things as you would like.

First we need to figure out what kinda bonus you would like be it
groupies,
layered groupies,
add on pack,
backpack, or
page kit.

Please make your choice on that first then we will begin after I have announced that choice. I will make an assumption that you all will want a page kit but we will leave that option open should a few of you decide you really want an alpha or something with a particular kit.

UPDATE: TEA TREASURES 2 PAGE KIT

Oh! I was so hoping it was going to be this kit-- it's just beautiful! *doing happy snoopy dance*

I love bonuses that are related to the challenge kits; an AOP, an element pack, or a kit like last time that can be used with the challenge kit. I'm very confident that whatever you make will be beautiful and fun, but I'd vote for another kit! Tea treasures 2.

Ummmm. . . or tea AND coffee treasures LOL

Hmmm.....tea makes me think of old southern front porches, and ................well Now I'm ROFL......I started thinking about gone with the wind and thought about Tea at Tara............and THEN I thought :think::think::think:.......that sounds familiar, so I just went to the shop and guess what????.............. one of my favorite designers has already made a kit with that name................Guess Who?

now I'll have to come back later with suggestions. :)

Well, how about an old receipt for journaling or a mat. Coffee ring. Could go "cocoa" and use some more black elements with it, How about a swirly black element, or diamond shaped frames. And of course I can never have enough stitches. White flowers would be nice, too.

I always love flowers but would like to also see some greenery included but in more olive green shades with maybe some burnt orange (salmon) or brown in them (but not bight fall leaves). I will come back with some fresh ideas.

I'm really fond of that ribbon frame. Maybe we could have a longer stretch of ribbon like that?

And, Kerr, that teapot in Tea Time at Tara is FABULOUS!

Oh I love layered groupies so I guess that would be my vote. I really challenged myself this time. I soooooo love cutsey fonts and avoid plain Jane fonts as much as possible. SO I challenge myself to use a very clean plain font. It was hard I kept thinking OH....this would look so cute if I used......but I stuck to my guns
OK....I admit it. I am thinking about redoing and using a cuter font

I'll confess that I totally forgot about the challenge prompt to use your favorite font. This one is my current favorite journaling font, though, so I suppose I did it by accident!

It was hard to decide on one favorite font. I ended up using my favorite typewriter font, 1942 report, and one of my favorite journaling fonts, Boring Showers. I like this one because it's a neat hand and bold enough to be easily read.It didn't resize too well because it was rather small and the file was rather large before resizing. That said, here it is:

My standby font is DSP Maddie Moo which I use frequently.
