Heritage Chat is at 10.00 p.m. on Wednesdays - we would love to have you join us!
It is a very informal chat, you do NOT have to be any kind of expert, all you need is a love of creating scrapbook pages which will be treasured by generations to come. We see it as a way to preserve the stories which will be forgotten, give names to the faces which lie buried in your boxes of photos.
The way the chat runs:
~ There is NO attendance freebie! We really want you to come because you WANT to come NOT because anyone is dangling a reward!
~ Each week a topic is set, we try to make it as general as possible to accommodate as many photo as possible. If you do NOT have photos of a particular topic, it is a great opportunity to journal! Illustrate it with pictures you unearth if you like - remember, it is the story that really counts!
~ Heritage is also very loosely defined - photos do not have to be over any certain age to qualify.
~ During the chat we vote. This is done IN the chat, by your fellow scrappers and the winner is announced in the chat. It is done in private, nobody sees your vote, you are quite free to vote for yourself if you choose!
How to post to the Heritage Gallery (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=847)
Please follow these guidelines:
~ Your page must be in the Heritage Gallery (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=847.html) by the beginning of the weeks chat ie before 10.00 est on Wednesdays.
~ When you fill in the details, right at the bottom you see a Challenge box - please put Heritage Chat and the name of the weeks challenge there.
~ Post a link to your image in the Heritage Chat Forum (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=537), look for the thread with the name and date of the challenge in the header.
In layouts for the Heritage Challenge you may use any products mine or those of any Designer (I really want you to use DSP stuff though!!!) - they DO NOT have to be mine, but as I always say, remember who counts the votes
Heritage is also very loosely defined - photos do not have to be over any certain age to qualify.
   Good luck with your entry
