We'd like to organise a dinner outing for Auckland Members -
We are thinking Thursday 25th - and probably somewhere reasonably central like Mt Eden or Newmarket or Ponsonby -
If you are interested holler here

Sounds a like a great idea but I'm pretty sure I won't be able to come :(

I'm definitely interested - if I know soon enough I could ask for time off as I normally work Thursdays

As long as I could get back to Britomart to catch my bus or train home if my mum can't pick me up I'm not fussed as to where the dinner is

I talked to Pam today and she needs it to be later and so do I - is 7.30 too late for you all ??

that is fine by me as i may be able to work until 7 that day (symonds st). If I do work Newmarket or Mt Eden would be best as I think getting to Ponsonby could be a tad tricky. My last bus home is at 11.30pm from britomart

Just checking - you are thinking about Thursday 25th September am I correct?

At this stage I have applied to finish work at 7pm but depending on how busy it is I could easily be able to leave by 6.30pm - I'm about 15-20 mins by bus away from either Newmarket or Mt Eden but most likely at least 30-45 mins away from Ponsonby

I have the night off so is it a happening thing or not - no problems if not because I will stay home and scrap instead

I'm going to have to take a rain check on dinner this time, I'm afraid, I'm in England for a couple of weeks and don't get back till the 1st.

I am on annual leave from 28th October to the 10th of November so baring the days 31st October to 2nd November & 8th November I am free which would suit me just fine for dinner.

I was just talking Ted into coming for a visit :) .. he's actually quite enthusiastic (amazing), but it won't be quite that soon - probably the year after - if we're all still alive and kicking!!

Wouldn't that just be the most awesome thing? Who knows if it'll really happen with the current financial mess going on, but it sure is an exciting thought!!

I've always wanted to visit NZ, since I was a little person - just something about the scenery - actually very like our own here, but we have snakes and I don't think you guys do :) ... and it would be a huge bonus to actually meet some real live DSP people!!!! :)

No snakes, no poisonous bugs (Australia), great people, great scenery - what could be better (and food!!) ... we'll have to cross all our bits that I can resist spending any money for a year or so!
