Hmmm tossing up between requesting a pin stripe paper and a paper with green leaves all over it.
Actually a white paper with swirls of blue and green leaves scattered over it may be cool.
Maybe that pin stripe should have diagonals on it a bit like the veins of the leaf.
Or maybe I should just ask for all four. ;)

Oh, I'll second that.
A lght grn paper with very fine drk grn strips. Exactly what I thought of when I saw the colour scheme.

Oh I would love love love a paisley paper. Done with medium sized paisleys with a little filigree around each paisley and really sm flower outlines inside it with a little large flower outlines around the outside of the paisleys. Using three or so of the colors and grunged a little :)
How about a paper that looks like a big mix of all the colors - almost like a sea in turmoil

Every time I see this color suggestion, I hope it's the next one!
I'd like to suggest a harlequin print, fading in and out, with clusters of leaves as a pattern in spots where the harlequin print isn't. Not neccesarily everywhere, but in some spots. And a cluster in one or more corners.
Ok, that doesn't even make much sense to me, but I can see it in my head!

In the blue tones, with an interlocking swirl pattern.
Grungy black background with small dots in the other colors.
The sun shining through the leaves makes me think of bling ... grungy black background with little startbust/bling spots on it, mostly white, but with tints of the other colors.

Where do you guys get your color swatches??
I think we get the INSPIRATION for color swatches all over. Ads, our own photos, random images from around the web.
As for putting together a color swatch, I do mine in Photoshop. I put the photo in, and then add the color blocks. Sometimes I come up with my own color combination ideas, sometimes I use sites like kuler (http://kuler.adobe.com/), COLOURlovers (http://www.colourlovers.com/) or ColorSchemer (http://www.colorschemer.com/).
To have your image display in a forum thread ... The image needs to either be in the gallery, or some other online photo sharing site first. Get the location of the image. If it is here at DSP, click on the image in the gallery, and then with your mouse over the photo, right click and click properties and select and copy the full address/URL.
Then when you make your post, you need to insert the link in the following format:
http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/data/500/IMG_post.jpg
Alternatively, you can click Go Advanced, and click the little yellow icon that looks like two mountains and a sun, and paste the image location in the box and it will insert the "code" on either side of the image for you.
Hope that helps!

Scrapmommytn, I'm not sure how everyone else does it; as you can see, their swatches are much easier to see than mine, but I upload one to my gallery and link it here. You can find an inspiration peice anywhere; mine have been photos I've taken and then sampled colors from in photoshop to make the color grid. I understand there are on-line "banks" of swatches too, although I've never been there.

Love the acrylic paisley. Would still like to see some gems - a stick pin or brooch in green or blue.

I am still thinking of more Robin's egg blue. LOL.
How about cross-stitching in a square shape that is about 11" square that be used as a page accent, or to stitch 2 papers together.....in the blue, of course.
WHoa, look what happens when I go back to work! This kit is awesome!
Will try to think of something but looks like you girls have it all under control!

Love this bold look!
I'm with Sandy; I really like the blue-- and that flower is really great, BTW!
I'd like to see a row of interlocking diamonds in the blue, with a layer of smaller silvery acrylic diamonds on top.

Oh this is turning out so pretty. I would like to see an element with the blue, brighter green and silver together, ok and maybe a touch of black. What about a cluster of diamond see through shapes with some dangly beads or gems either hanging or intertwined. It could be an element type cluster or maybe large enough to put journaling inside.

How about a few short ribbons, in different shades of blue, green, etc.

Maybe you can make something Robin's egg blue for journaling on......like short ribbons held down with stitches, or staples, or several pieces of paper messily lined up!

Well its not swirly or a flourish and its not really a true black - but its gilttery

something for journaling - I prefer file folder tabs, but I'm not sure if they'll really go with the kit anymore - a paisley shape with silver staples would be nice, or whatever you come up with!

Not a problem at all. I think it's a beautiful addition to the kit and I think the glitter makes this one stand out even more. BTW I also love the staples element. Very unusual!

A suede tag of some type either in black to match the fringe or in either the blue or green that is in the paisley background paper.

Round glass brad/button made out of the paisley paper...
A silver paperclip with a round brad/button/design on top that is made out of the paisley paper but looks like glass...
Photo prongs with the paisley paper design (or the colors in the paper) worked in. Perhaps something with a silver base metal and the glass-paper design worked on top of that?

I would still like to see something for journaling. It doesn't have to be my previous idea but something to write on would be nice. I like to include journaling on a layout. This kit is fabulous.
How about something using those rectangles of color from the black background paper.
You can decide what....like a jewel, or a journaling paper outlined with them.....

I almost missed out on this one! How about a tag to hang from the ribbon? Beautiful! (as usual!) :)

Love the ribbon element but I am drawing a blank for the title - other than the staple item is one of the defining pieces, so I'd really like to see that in the title or Fringe - Fringe of Nature?
