?Gimme a clue ?

Gimme more crops with Lauren has a thread called Gimme a clue. What exactly is this? I searched the threads to find the beginning that maybe could explain it but I didn't find one. The color swatches pulled from these photos are beautiful. Does Lauren pick from these colors to make new kits or is this a contest or ???

A little of both! She chooses the color scheme for a new kit from those submitted. I think whoever submitted the scheme for that Gimme a Clue, gets the kit for free. Let me see if I can find the first thread, or if someone jumps in here and beats me to it :)

She has recently changed it to doing a random draw for 3 people to get the new kit rather than giving a free kit to everyone who suggests a paper or element that she uses. Just an update to Gail's answer.
