Fellow Heritage Scrappers, I need your help big time! My grandmother's 90th birthday is fast approaching and I have yet to get her scrapbook that I was so hoping to make for her done. I haven't even gotten started and it is 3 weeks away! I tried starting it a year ago and was going to do it for a Christmas present but I was never able to get any pics from the rest of the family. I tried again putting out the picture request so we could do it for her 90th birthday. I am just now getting pics in from the one aunt who has a good majority of the old photos I'd like to use.

My plea for help is this, if I am able to get all the pictures up on the computer this weekend, is there anyone willing and able to help me put together any of the pages? Kinda like a swap, only I'll return the favor at a later date. This would really mean alot to me to have you more experienced scrappers help out if possible. I was really hoping to have it done so that I could get it all uploaded to a program that prints off those nice coffeebook style scrapbooks. I'm not sure if I'll have time to do that part or not, but I'd like to get as much done as I could.

Thanks so much in advance! Please feel free to privately email me at poohbear@danlent.com

Wow that is a big project. Have you thought of using an instant album or something similar to make things a little easier/quicker? With a deadline, that might be a good solution. You get a cohesive looking album and you can put the work into getting some nice journalling or stories to include (hopefully). Personally, I am big a fan of keeping these things simple (non scrapbookers don't care much about pretty embellishments - they usually get excited about the photos and stories). Good luck and I know you will make a wonderful gift for her :)

Yep, I am looking at some of the instant album pages right now. Not seeing a whole lot though. I was looking for some heritage looking type ones. Any suggestions?

Personally, I feel some of the "heritage" ones are a little masculine feeling. Here are some that might work together (and remember you can easily change the colours if you are not fond of pink):
