S.O.S - Need help from anyone willing and fast

Fellow scrappers, I need your help big time! My grandmother's 90th birthday is fast approaching and I have yet to get her scrapbook that I was so hoping to make for her done. I haven't even gotten started and it is 3 weeks away! I tried starting it a year ago and was going to do it for a Christmas present but I was never able to get any pics from the rest of the family. I tried again putting out the picture request so we could do it for her 90th birthday. I am just now getting pics in from the one aunt who has a good majority of the old photos I'd like to use.

My plea for help is this, if I am able to get all the pictures up on the computer this weekend, is there anyone willing and able to help me put together any of the pages? Kinda like a swap, only I'll return the favor at a later date. This would really mean alot to me to have you more experienced scrappers help out if possible. I was really hoping to have it done so that I could get it all uploaded to a program that prints off those nice coffeebook style scrapbooks. I'm not sure if I'll have time to do that part or not, but I'd like to get as much done as I could.

Hi all! Kristie's internet went down! I have emailed all that were in the Reply All, but if you are not there here is a copy of her email with info regarding how to lay out our pages.

I don't have access to my regular email with everyone's email addresses and am doing this message through the web server. If you could please email everyone and let them know what is going on as far as why I might not respond till tomorrow I would greatly appreciate it. In the meantime, people can email me this week at kristie.lent@alaska.gov and I'll be able to respond at work.

Please pass along that I "think" still doing 12x12 pages will work. I played around today with one of yours before we lost connection. The problem right now is that I would say about a quarter of the page all the way around gets cut off and that's what I was freaking out about. My best solution is for people to do a 12x12 page and leave 1/4 to a half inch of white space (in other words, start with the background layer on a 12x12 and crop about 1/4 of an inch around the side so that it would actually be 11.75 and then that will give you a guide for the rest of the page. Try and keep important text like the title and all and any other important aspect of the layout away from the edges as much as possible. That's the best way I can describe it. The one I grabbed that you did was the first page of the kitchen layout and it almost fit except the leaves and flower got cut off and I couldn't get it to move over enough for it to look right. Oh, on that one by the way there is a ' missing in the title. It should be Grandma's Kitchen.

Just checking in to see if people are still getting these posts? For some reason I only see page one. I am at work today but I can check in here when I have down time. Hi Kristie, just to let you know I've posted another LO in your gallery (that's 6 all together now from me), some are minus journalling, but I figured you could add that in photoshop before printing if you want. If not, just holler and I'll amend them and re-upload, no problem.

I still can't access the NEW B & W photos yet, it's 11:15 pm here now so I'm off to bed in a bit so it will be Thurs 9th before I can do any more scrapping for you. anyway let me know please. I'll check the thread, my DSP inbox or private email account for your response.

I just uploaded the new black and white pictures into the new folder (sorry for the delay). I also need to know who took the travel album again. I have a few more pictures and figured I would just email them directly to you.

Hi Kristie, I've tried again to access the new B&W photos and it still tells me there is no thumbnail and the album is empty - can you repost the link and signpost me to where I should be looking as I guess I'm looking in the wrong place. Where did all the other posts in this thread disappear too?
