Can I do this technique in Photoshop 7?

Text Around Shape (http://digitalscrapbookplace.com/university/tutorials/psp_textaroundshapes_ew/psp_textaroundshapes_ew.shtml) in Paint Shop Pro

How do I do it? Plus, I tried the tutorial (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/university/tutorials/ps_textinshape_as.shtml) on how to do a text inside a shape, but since the tut is with PS CS, I can't do it either in PS7. I tried doing every single step, but when it's time for the text tool, I am stucked. My text tool still look the same, it doesn't 'conform' to the shape..

Please someone help!! :cry:

Oh I don't think so..... I think only from Photoshop CS and up can you do text on or in a path. I stand to be corrected though.

Ohh! Yeah, I suspected it is the case. I just thought that there may be a way that I just have not discovered... It seems that I really have to change to PhotoShop CS..Thanks for taking the time to answer my question, Sands! Have a blessed day!

No Text Path in PS7. You can try just using the text tool but that would probably take forever with tons of layers involved, placing them just right, etc......too much work.

you can shape your text a bit using the text tool. There is an icon when you use it that allows you to warp your text into arcs and waves. It's not nearly as effective nor as adjustable as text following a path but it's better than nothing

Thank you for your responses! I really love being here, noobs like me are taken care of and not looked down upon. Why did I ever not been active here when I first registered?:(
But I am rectifying it now, I'm going to stick around here, coz I now feel that I can grow here artistically with regards to my LO/pages.

And Yes, Sands, I think that would also be a motivating factor for me to finally install PS CS3. :D
