I am fairly new to digital scrapbooking and was wondering where do most people print our their 12x12 pages? I'd like to eventually buy a large format printer but until then I have some pages I'd like to put in a book. Where is a good and reasonable place to print them, either online or local? Thanks!

WELCOME!!!!! This is a wonderful website and community -- we'll look forward to getting to know you.

Personally, I love Scrapbooks to Share (http://www.sbtoshare.com/). I get the less expensive (not photo) paper. Some people don't care for it because it's thin, like a glossy magazine page. I like it because the albums are so much more flexible and easy to handle. Plus the beauty of digital is that I can always print it on different paper later. Haven't wanted to so far, though, because I've gotten beautiful results and good service.

What Omi said - welcome to DSP! :)

I use the printing company at blurb.com

I have made ten I think, since May this year. Many for relatives and several for myself as coffee table books. I'm just about to send my latest one in to be printed.

I too like scrapbook to share...I actually called them and Lisa was very helpful..you get samples...I like the cardstock...just a bit heavier...depends on whether you are putting it in the plastic sleeves??? That's what I do...I get the matte...therefore when it's inserted in the plastic that gives it an glossy look.

I use Costco bcuz I can get a 12x18 (one 12x12 plus two 6x6 copies) all for only $2.99 plus tax in ONE HOUR! (or course it would help if I didn't live two and a half hours away ... easiest to just use mail!) I've been using them for 3 years now and never have a problem.

This site includes all sorts of information about digital scrapbook printing either by the page or by the book. They also show the most current size options for printing and the pricing for each of the resources.

I keep this one bookmarked and use it frequently Digi Scrap Info (http://www.digiscrapinfo.com/joomla/prints-submenu)

Hope this helps you....

I printed a beautiful 8 x 8 book, 50 pages, for $40.00. at viovio.com it was so easy and that price included FedEx delivery. Next I am gonna try a 12 x 12. I like the 8x8 for gifts because you can make a cover out of LO's. it look so cool.

I use them all the time and Lise is wonderful. I send an order on Sunday night and have my pages within a week, sometimes as quickly as 4 days. I have printed hundreds of LOs and only had 2 'bad' pages. I called and they printed new ones and they FedEx'd them to me he next day.
