I'll second everything you said, Scrapper! If things don't seem to be going your way, all you have to do is post a note on the forums or a lo in the gallery, then just wait for the encouraging comments to start rolling in. A lot like laughter because it's the best medicine. :D

I agree! And remember, if you ever need a pick me up, we have a thread where you can post links to your "forgotten" layouts too. A little praise here and there, even when asked for, can sure brighten our day!

I love getting comments, too, and even sometimes go back when I'm down and read through some of them again. But I also get a pick me up from leaving them as well! It's funny how looking for the positives in things just sort of flows over into the rest of your life.

Ditto gang...I know I am not the best at making Layouts, and I know I can never be right up there with all the talented scrappers,...then out of the Blue I get a kind word of encouragement and it gives me the strength to try and do my best for You All...Thank-You for all your support. In return I try and do the same...and that's the way it is here...You Guys are the best !! :)

I so enjoy looking at nearly every layout because I find inspiration and ideas through the eyes of others -- and most of the time I will comment. Sometimes the photo "pulls me in" and sometimes the layout or colors or balance make me want to take a look.

Most of my layouts will not be spectacular, but each has a personality of it's own (usually based on the subject of the photo) and I thank each member who posts layouts for helping me to learn new techniques and ways to display my photos (and often ideas for taking photos). I do love this place and the friendly members.
