Large format digital frames?

Hi! I am wondering if anyone has tried displaying your 12 x 12 digital pages in a 12 x 12 or larger digital picture frame? Do the frames actually show the full page, or are the edges cut off? Also, when the product says it's 12 x 12, does that mean the screen itself is that large? It's frustrating to try to figure this out by reading the product descriptions on Amazon, and no stores locally sell these larger sizes. Thanks for ideas on this--I'd love brand recommendations, etc!

I have never seen 12 x 12 sound amazing! I have a number of my layouts ins a regular photo sized one and it works amazingly well - bit blank either side but they look lovely!

Typically I see frames referred to as 8" or 10", which I think is usually a reference to the diagonal measurement. Usually if you read the details specs you can find the overall dimensions of the frame itself v. the display area. Like Meryl I have also used a smaller size frame and the scraps fill the frame from top to bottom, and have blank space on the sides.

If you have read about an actually 12" x 12" frame, I'd love to see the details on it!

Thanks so much for your quick response. You're right, there is no 12 x 12 frame, but I was thinking of trying to view my 12 x 12 pages in one of those which is 12 x 15, for instance. I'm just wondering if they are too grainy when they're that large. I'm glad you've had success viewing your pages on a smaller digital frame--that gives me hope! If anyone else has viewed pages on a much larger frame, I'd love to hear what you think of the quality.

I want to by digital frames for Christmas gifts and would like to load my layouts (square) onto the frame. Any suggestions on what to buy are appreciated.

I have my layouts on my digital frame - its not a huge one - 10x8 but they look great - it does leave a black edge of course on each side

These sound like an excellent Christmas idea! For someone like me who's totally clueless about them, would anyone be willing to explain how they work? What size do you have to resize your 12x12 pages to? How many layouts do they hold? And is there a particular brand that any one recommends?

most of them take memory cards - and I just save the web version of my layout onto the card - easy peasy
