Distorted photos in develop module...

Okay it's been a while since anyone has posted in this forum so I thought I'd go for it.:rolleyes:

Has this ever happened to anyone using lightroom? When you are in the develop module the picture ends up being distorted like this one on the left. The only thing I can think of is that I rotated the photo in windows picture and fax viewer and moved on to the next photo without rotating it back to it's original state....other than that it's beyond me?:confused:

I dont know a thing about lightroom but thought I would google for some info. There are quite a few people who posted in forums about the same thing but nobody gave any answers that I have found so far! :lol: Someone mentioned it may be a conflict in metadata between camera and program and could it be to do with using the settings of the previous photo and applying them to the next photo causing a stretching of a vertical photo to a horizontal canvas. No body gave any in depth answer, mostly they were guessing. Sorry I cant help you! But it seems it has happened to quite a few people not just you.
