Erica’s Lucky Dips Monthly Themed Challenge

This is a 4-week long challenge with a different theme each week and it’s totally up to you whether you want to create a layout for one or all four of the weekly challenges. However, if you do enter all four weekly challenges you’ll be in the random draw at the end of the month for a store coupon to the value of $3.99.

Long story short version…
4 x 1 weekly challenges - each week’s challenge a different theme
Use Erica’s nominated kit for the weekly challenge she chooses to get an exclusive freebie
Create a Layout for ALL of Erica’s nominated kit challenges throughout the month to get a free, new kit at the end of the month
Use DSP products only (not using Erica’s nominated kit) and do all of the 4 x weekly challenges and go into draw for coupon
It pays to enter ALL of Erica’s nominated kit challenges because:
A – you get the exclusive freebies for that challenge
B – you get a free kit at the end of the month
AND
C – you also get to go into the draw for the coupon if you’ve completed all 4 x weekly challenges

But wait there’s more…
Because I know you all love FREEBIES, I have created a Special Exclusive Bonus Challenge. Not all weekly challenges will have a bonus challenge and I may mix these up from month to month, so that all the weekly challenges get to have a bonus challenge attached at some stage. Clear so far?? OK! So here’s how the bonus challenge works:
I will nominated one of my kits (this may be the current challenge kit, a past challenge kit or a kit that’s never been a challenge) for you to use for that weeks themed challenge, you MUST use this kit to get an exclusive posting bonus and the LO MUST be in the Lucky Dip Gallery exclusively (by that I mean it can’t do double/triple duty etc), this bonus will not be put into the store at anytime and is totally exclusive to that weeks challenge. To get the bonus your LO has to be posted to the gallery between the specified dates. These will be posted very clearly in that weeks challenge forum when the bonus dates will start and finish and I will also post the kit sample in the gallery at the date start and post a deadline image at the cut off date, this may not be for a full week (i.e. only 3 days or 5 days etc) and if you don’t make the LO with the chosen Kit you can still upload a LO to that weeks theme deadline. NO late uploads will be accepted for the bonus challenge however. Note – cut-of times will always be DSP/EST times at midnight on the specified date. If you’re not sure of the current DSP time check the chat room as it’s always displayed under the login.
But wait, there’s still more…
If you do a LO for all bonus challenges (how ever many I choose to run that month), you will receive a brand new kit not in the shop yet, at the end of the month.
And of course, if you’ve done all four weekly challenges, whether using the bonus kit or not, you still go into the random draw. If you’re NOT creating your LO using the bonus challenge kit it can do double, triple, whatever duty as long as I have a link in the weekly forum.
All 4 weekly challenges will be put up at the beginning of the month but the Bonus Challenges will be put up randomly during the month so it will pay to do each challenge weekly in their order if you want the bonus freebie and not all in one week. You can choose to do them in any order if you want but it would be a shame to miss out on the exclusive bonus wouldn’t it and one of my new kits for free?!

After each weekly challenge I would love to put a random selection of LO’s in my Blog (http://ericabeltondesigns.blogspot.com/), if you give your permission of course :)

The Challenges:
Week 1: Lucky Dip
This will be a random collection of themes and may include some of the following:
Animal only LO’s
Flowers/gardens only LO’s
Card Challenge (Christmas, Birthday etc)
Math Equations ( 2 + 2 = 4) only as a LO theme.
To name a few – this is were you also get to tell me what challenge theme you’d like to see in the week 1 Lucky Dip challenge.
Week 2: Simon Says…
This is a poll for various themed LO’s maximum of 3 choices to vote on and may be some of the following.
Style Type (White space, graphic etc)
Colour Swatch choice (maximum of 3 colours per swatch)
Shapes Choices (square, circle, arrow etc)
Background choices (dotted, stripped, shabby etc)
Element choices (bow, ribbon, journal tag etc)
**Note** Weeks 3 and 4 will focus on titles and journaling so your LO can be any style, even a none traditional style, a style all your own, in fact, let your hair down and go creatively wild!
Week 3: Re-Phrase It
You’ll be given a phrase prompt for that week which you must include in your LO, it can be in the title, the beginning of the journaling or you can create a poem with the phrase in one of its lines.
Week 4: Triple My Word
This challenge is based on the previous Oh! My Word Challenge except for a slight difference - This week you will be given a WORD, just one, that you have to include in the title and in your journaling 3 times (the slight difference), it must be in separate sentences not like this - word, word, word etc. For example, lets say the chosen word is TIME; I might have a title or sentence something like this “TIME and tide wait for no man” or “She has a TIMELESS Beauty that is always admired”. So you see, you can extend the word to include all its possible meanings.
