pse- animation question

So I've figured out how to animate things using PS Elements, but I can't figure out how to only animate certain layers- it is animating all layers, including my background right now. Any ideas?? Thanks

I'm sure by now you figured this out but I am having the same problem. Can anyone help? I can get the animation to work but my pics are showing up as small parts of the page so there is a lot of white background showing with each picture and the background page shows too. I sized each picture to fit the page first and that is why I am puzzled. In PSE you have to save this as a web page. I wonder if that has anything to do with it. Help.

with PSE you have to put everthing you want to show stationary on each layer so for example if you are making a blinke and want the words to change but the background to stay the same you would put the background on a layer then I'd dup the layer add the 1st word (or whatever you want to animate) then dup that layer add the next part and dup that layer ect till you have it looking like you want. I hope this helps. :D
