about to switch from PSP x2 to PSCS3..any advice

I have been a PSP user for YEARS, and after seeing all these actions I am about to get PS CS3..... what are some major differences you can think of, is it a good switch.... I am a little scared of trying something new LOL

I haven't really used PSP, but my only advice is if you are buying Photoshop new, PSCS4 is now available. If you are getting a great deal on CS3, then go for it, but if price is the same you might as well get the newest version.
