I think I am ready to finally scrap my first baby girls page. She passed away of SIDS almost 10 years ago when she was 2 months old. I have not been able to do much with her pictures, the few I still have, but would like to try.
Sooo, if anyone knows of nice, classy kits that would work for SIDS or loss please enable me.
Thanks in advance, I appreciate all the help here.

I am so sorry for your loss! I am certain your little girl brought you so much joy in her short but so precious life!
I might suggest you look towards kits that are more girl oriented, or neutral, and find poems, songs, word art that can help you document her life.
Some things that come to mind...

I hope you were able to find some ideas. I'm so sorry for your loss.
This is a little different, but I would like to do some pages about my miscarriages and the seven years when we thought we may not be able to have children. I'm buying a book called "The Scrapbooking Journey." It's not specifically about grief, but I'm hoping it will give me some ideas for more emotional topics. I'll let you know if it has good ideas!
I wish you the best in documenting a precious life.

I am sorry for your loss. I also lost my daughter to SIDS in 1999, aged almost 4 months. Also for not seeing your post earlier, I hope you are still reading this thread!
I would be willing to try and make a suitable kit (or kits) for lost babies, if anyone would like to make suggestions as to what they would like to see. Colours, wordarts, 'feel' and so on.

Thank you, Ruby! I am so sorry for your grief as well. :(
These are just a few ideas from the miscarriage point of view. They may or may not work for infant loss as well:
wordart:
longing
I miss you
playing with angels
what would you be like today?
grateful to have carried you
no picture to share, but I hold you in my heart (edited: no frame holds your picture, but I hold you in my heart ???)
you needed feet for walking the earth; you received wings when heav'n gave you birth
elements:
silver photo frame (I would leave it empty for miscarriage, I think, or put a sonogram picture in it)
silver feet or heart charms (to hang from the photo frame?)
wings, maybe made of bright white lace and/or wire, to perch like a butterfly
bright white lace background page
cozy white blanket-textured page or frame
light pink or blue ribbon and pages
white ribbon to tie around photo frame
sunrise/set colored page?? (soft orangey pinks fading to lighter sky blues/whites)
I don't know... these are just a few thoughts. I have a lot of friends who have miscarried as well, and it would be nice to have memory layouts to print and frame for them. When DH's sister died in an accident a few years ago, his mom gave us all a framed picture of her against horizon colors with the words... something like, "Let me tell you about my love I have lost. No words you can say will make it better. Just listen as I share with you my grief." That isn't exactly what it says (we moved recently and I haven't unpacked all my pictures), but it would be nice to give something like that to others who have lost loved ones.

You could also have a card with information to fill in, like due date/birthday, name.

This are super ideas Deb, I will see what I can put together.
Feel free to keep adding ideas, anyone, if there is something you particularly would like. I can do more than one kit if people want them.

My heart goes out to all of you...I had two miscarriages, but I don't think I have the strength to put all those emotions onto paper.

My miscarriages were in 2000, and it has only been in the past year that I could consider scrapbooking about it. (We also had several years of hoping for children in the meantime.) Situations and people are all different. My MIL was scrapping her daughter's life with a furious passion just a few months after she died - I couldn't imagine.
I hope you find ways to remember that are meaningful without being too painful.
Hugs.

Well I'm sorry it's taken six weeks (how did that happen? Where did February go?), but this kit is now in store.
Thanks for the suggestions ladies, I hope it meets with your approval.

This is so beautiful Ruby!
I have also had several losses. We had 4 miscarriages and lost one baby boy at 18wks due to a neural tube defect. I have been meaning to do a new page for him as we lost him 5 years ago last week. I must get onto that, has been a crazy week and haven't had a chance!
