I have come to notice some new - of what I call "Layout Helpers" [not sure what the proper technical term for them are LOL and I hope someone will tell me :D] being created by our wonderful designers here at DSP. These Layout Helpers are products that you can use again and again with any kit that add a little magic to the page.

I have used a few and noticed others in the store over the last month or so ... such as .... Lauren's quick bits (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&keyword=quick+bits&search_in_description=1&categories_id=&inc_subcat=1&manufacturers_id=5&pfrom=&pto=&dfrom=&dto=&x=32&y=9), Meryl's from the photo box (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&keyword=photo+box&search_in_description=1&categories_id=&inc_subcat=1&manufacturers_id=15&pfrom=&pto=&dfrom=&dto=&x=32&y=12) and cracked & creased overlays (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&keyword=cracked+%26+Creased&search_in_description=1&categories_id=&inc_subcat=1&manufacturers_id=15&pfrom=&pto=&dfrom=&dto=&x=27&y=4), Christine's Buttons, Borders and more (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&keyword=buttons%2C+borders), Elizabeths Freestyle Frames (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&keyword=freestyle+frames&search_in_description=1&categories_id=&inc_subcat=1&manufacturers_id=49&pfrom=&pto=&dfrom=&dto=&x=37&y=1) ..... these are just a few of what has caught my eye and I know there are so many more in the store such as groupies, overlay stacks, frames in many forms [filmstrips, stamped framed], overlays not to mention the Quick Clicks, alphas and word art.

What are your favourite "Layout Helpers" from the DSP Designers and have you seen a LO using them that really caught your eye or sparked your imagination? You may have a LO that you want to show that uses one to. If so let us know here by posting a link to the product in the store here and/or LO that you have seen. I know I have not seen ever a 1/4 of what is in the store and thought this a good way to show everyone what you have discovered from our designers that add that little bit of pizazz or magic. I'll post a few in the morning when I am not half asleep [I really hope I have explained myself correctly LOL].

Anyone who looks at my gallery knows I love alphas. I use one on almost every page. I just love a great title on every page. Anothe product I use a lot that adds interest to pages is Lisa Carter's Decorative Edge Sets (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=7294). This is just one of them. There are several sets and I have them all!

My very favorite DSP product over the past few weeks has been Erica's Grungy Frame Stamps (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=9243). I cannot count how many times I have used them. They are so beautiful and so versatile. :)

Another product I have just used over and over again are Suzanne Walker's Inky Edge Overlays (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=4688). They are a great way to finish off a page.:)

I personally, could not get along without a good Quick Click...often my biggest hurdle with a layout is placement of the photos.

I have a couple of "oldies but goodies" that I wouldn't be caught without...

Suzanne's Edgy Edges (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&keyword=edgy+edges). I use them so often. They give a lovely finishing touch to the page. Here's an example: Make Time for Fun (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=196780)

Another favorite is Lisa Carter's Already Torn (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&keyword=already+torn) products. I am not capable of making a tear in Photoshop, so Lisa's tear templates make it so easy to get that effect with any paper I choose. Here's an example: First Day of Preschool (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=203508)

These are the two that come to mind first, I'm sure there are others!
