Why is it I need moderator approval?

:help: Every once in a while I will try to post and it comes up with a message (which lasts like a blink of an eye), it says something like needing moderator approval before it will posts, then dumps me back into the main forum. My post never does post. Can someone please help me with this.

it might be from the recent forum spam we were getting: we set up a system where some forums are moderated if certain phrases are used, but the filter gets "smarter" when the mod approves or rejects messages, so you should see the frequency of these decreasing more and more as the system learns what DSP wants. Some good posts will get into moderation, and some spam will get through, but hopefully for the most part it's good.

I have never seen a queue of these waiting to be approved, so I am not sure where your messages are going. Nor am I sure what types of things get moderated automatically, nor which specific forums these rules are on. You could try janet@dsplace.com to get more info on the specifics
