Photoshop Tennis (Round 2) Hot Air Balloon

Lets play Digitalscrapbookplace PHOTOSHOP TENNIS! The premise is simple, a group of photoshoppers (or any other good photo editing software) take turns in altering an image. Get it? if not see example below.


RULES

1) ALL content made must be appropriate and follows Digitalscrapbookplace forum rules.
2) Must stay in the original file size dimensions. (DO NOT RESIZE) Generally, this will be a large high quality image like 1024 x 768.
3) Each round lasts 10 edits (or untill we all agree).
4) Each turn must change the image from the last turn, but still retain elements from the previous image.
6) After you do your turn you must wait for a minimum of 2 alters to be made, or wait 3 hours.( and post a preview of the outcome in the comments for others to view in the thread)
7) After you make an alter, post it in the comments as a jpeg.
8 ) Once you decide to make a edit post a comment with the next corresponding number from the previous post. (e.g. the post before was edit #3, you would post a comment in the thread for others to know you will be edit #4)
9) Have fun!!!

Oh yes I love that picture, I like a majority vote rather than like one dictator so to speak so as long as everyone else likes it we should use the grand canyon one you provided for round 3. And maybe we should have a poll for other good photo ideas as we go?

just a thought, would it be legal to 'play' with other peoples' copyrighted worK? Say a wallpaper designer? if we are just playing it should be ok right?

From my understanding and i could be wrong here but as long as it's not intended to make profit you can use it?

I would suggest giving credit to the designer who's elements you are using?

I am a school librarian and deal with copy right all the time. I do not think we have to worry about any copy right issues here. We are not trying to take any from anyones profits. So no worries.

This really is a game of Tennis. It is very fast paced and every now and then there is a curve thrown in the direction the picture is taking.

Very nice everyone, I like all the changes in direction the picture keeps going each time someone else has a go at it lol. After 10 edits on this photo it will be time for round #3, If anyone feel's like changing the objective a little to make the game more challenging and fun, please feel free to take over for round 3.

Not sure about challenging, I guess those of us who can do more challenging stuff, can go there, but if we make it a rule it might exclude others who can't really do much either because they aren't sure how yet or are limited by their software.

I have seen some really awesome stuff along the same vain in Photoshop magazines, but their tennis, would probably take hours and hours and hours just for one turn if I had to try and replicate the complexity

What does everyone else think?

Wow, guys, this pic is really developing well - there is a whole story in it!
Bailey, it seems that we responded to the [comic book] alien space ship in many ways; Muma love the accuracy of your plane's rockets as shown by the stitch line but you obviously were not in time to prevent the escape of the alien. Tina, I like that he doesn't look as tho' he is going to crash in to the pyramid; surely he will be doing a soft landing. Meanwhile despite a whale getting in the way, our surfboard hero, who arrived from the display ground airfield by hot air balloon, is rushing to intercept what looks like a harmless alien - if the eagle does not get him [our hero] first!

I wait with bated breath for the next installment [get the pun? - installment?]
