I've still got tons of Thanksgiving photos. This one was taken of me by my niece Alex without the flash, so it was extremely underexposed. I adjusted the levels,clarified and applied a filter or two and did my best to adjust the colors, but I still got this muted, almost monochromatic effect, which worked pretty well with these kits:
