Hello everyone!

My name is Jessica and I recently became interested in Digital Scrapbooking at the mention of my good friends Natalie and Kate over at another message board having nothing to do with scrapbooking.

In any case, I am 23 and I asked for a new digital camera from my husband for the holidays! I have PS CS2 that I got as a student, and I enjoy using for other projects, but have not made a layout yet. I downloaded a few freebie packs the other day and am looking forward to getting started. We just came back from vacation (me, hubbie and my parents) and so I have a crop of new, happy pictures to work with.

Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Welcome to DSP Jessica! You'll love digital scrapbooking, tho' be prepared - it's very addicting :) To get you started check out 'Start Here' in the menu bar - it's got lots of information to get you going. Feel free to ask questions here in the forums when you hit a snag :)

Thank you Abby! I have bookmarked the tutorials I want to try and my hubby is on a business trip this week, so I am looking forward to getting started. Especially when I have a group of people to help me along!

Thank you ladies! I look forward to seeing my first layouts too!

My plan tonight is to work out, grab some of the leftover Chinese food and see if I can figure out a layout :) So we'll see how this goes!

You will be blown away by how helpful everyone here is! Do the first layout tutorial and you'll be on your way! I've only been doing this for two months and I can't believe how far I've come with the help of the people here!

Watch for the next NKOTB challenge. It's for new people and you will learn a lot.

Have fun!
Christy

Yeah, Suzanne. As I said, when my friends turned me onto the idea, the more I looked into it, the more it sounded perfect...I had already asked for the digital camera and everything! Now I'm sitting at work thinking up layouts
