Well, now for a wonderful Christmas story.
A few weeks ago, many of you heard me crying from all over the world. My largest EHD a 500GB WD External Hard Drive was no longer functioning. A search of the drive said it was empty and unformated. Thank God I did not reformat. I went out on the web and searched for a way to recover my photos. This was my back-up but I had recently moved all photos to this drive because I was going to transfer all photos to an online storage site. (The site only lets you backup 1 EHD so I moved everything so I could get it all moved. Unfortunately, I had not gotten to the back up yet).
I found a product that has a trial version on line and it immediately said that there were files on the drive that could be recovered but I had to buy it to see what they were. I was reluctant since it seemed too easy. I could find no reviews on the web and was afraid to waste money. I kept searching but absent a better choice I bought it from Amazon as they take things back without fuss. It is called Recover My Files the website is the same name, AND......
IT WORKS. It takes a lot of time, I recover 100 photos in about an hour and will have to do it little by little because I can't stand to be away from scrapping for all of the time it will take to recover the whole drive but I will get them into storage right away.
So, I don't know if I am allowed to post a link but PM me and I will glading share it with you.
And she and her millions of photos lived happily ever after!!!
