Just 'borrowed' this from Nicole's Original FAQ, will update as needed. ;-)

Define graphic layout A graphic style layout is 2D with no drop shadows. It would be the type of layouts that you see in magazine ads or posters. Pictures are often blended together or with elements to make a cohesive and interesting effect.

How do you do them???? Great questions!!! Here are some tutorials to get you started!! And there are more to come in the future!

Basic Graphic Page Tutorial for Photoshop (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/university/tutorials/ps_basicpage_graphic.shtml)
Basic Graphic Page Tutorial for Paint Shop Pro (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/university/tutorials/psp_basicpage_graphic.shtml)
Basic Graphic Page Tutorial for Digital Image Pro (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/university/tutorials/dip_basicpage_graphic.shtml)

Are graphic LOs mandatory or just a suggestion? At least some portion of your layout must be graphic style. If you would like to mix graphic and paper style that is completely fine!!!

Couldn't you keep the 'define me' part as a type of prompt? Great idea!! After the first few months of getting started, I will post some word prompts to inspire you with your layout!!!

Can we do hybrid? Of course!!!

What is hybrid? Hybrid is mixing graphic (2D style) with paper (3D style) to make a combination layout!

Is graphic just flat? Fully graphic style is 2D. When you start mixing in 3D elements you are actually making what is called a hybrid layout! Those are completely ok for this challenge!!!

No shadows? Not on a fully graphic style layout.

Blending? Blending is a technique that takes practice! Here is a tutorial for PSP on blending: Layouts Using Blending Overlays in PSP (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/university/tutorials/psp_blendinglayers_ew.shtml)
Here is a tutorial for PS on using Blend Modes. Layouts Using Blend Modes in Photoshop (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/university/tutorials/ps_blendmodes_rg/ps_blendmodes_rg.shtml)

What is the fuzz brush? it is a brush tip that usually comes with PS or PSP. It is just a cotton ball type paint brush tip that blends nicely

How do blend the photos and paper? Here is a PSP tutorial: Layouts Using Blending Overlays in PSP (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/university/tutorials/psp_blendinglayers_ew.shtml)

Where do we post? Here is the gallery to post your layout: Graphically Challenged with Robyn (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=6698)

Please add your own answers and questions below!! I will update this thread regularly!
