We have a confirmed venue for the Auckland Crop.

It is Fernz Lodge and Conference Centre
2 Rangatira Road Birkenhead

You can check the place out here (http://www.sfern.co.nz)

The Crop will run from 9am - 6pm and will be fully catered.

There will be wireless internet access. ( we hope to have this included in the crop price )
At the end of the crop we will be going to dinner. ( Venue to be arranged but may be at the same place as the Crop as they have a restaurant on site. )

We will be selling tickets in the DSP store . Price yet to be arranged but we will do our best to keep to under US $30 per person which isnt a bad price considering it will include lunch and afternoon tea.

There is accomodation on site but if you are from out of town and dont have a car then I would suggest booking your accomodation elsewhere as this venue is not in the central city area.
For Auckland locals and others with cars - this venue is perfect as it has free onsite and off road parking

If you do require accomodation please let me know.
Closer to the time we will take numbers for dinner also .

Well some of us "locals" are planning to stay the night (for some reason in no rush to get home...) so if you do want to stay there on the night, we could catch up at breakfast the next morning :) And there may be a car or two available for anyone who needs dropping off :)

If you can get to one of the North Shore bus stations Jennifer, I am sure that someone could pick you up if that is easier.

It won't be much easier as I will still have to be on the 7.10am train - closer to the time I'll see if I can twist my mum's arm to take me up there instead. Believe it or not getting home is the easy part!:)

Jennifer - do you still live out my way?? I might be able to pick you up and take you but I am going to stay the night rather than try and get back home. PM me.

The venue is directly opposite the Birkenhead bus station by the way so all Birkenhead buses go past.

Looks a nice place Lauren and the room tariffs look reasonable too.

I haven't looked at that yet but I guess we should get on to it :)

Thanks Julia - I've PM'd you.

The easy part was actually the City to Birkenhead. From Papakura to the City was the hard part because if I took the 20 to 8 train I'd miss the Birkenhead bus by 10 mins

We hope to have the tickets for sale in the store soon. This crop will be limited to 25 participants so to ensure your place book early.
