Date for Iowa/Midwest Crop

Lots of interest about this crop, so I thought it was a good time to solicit preferences on dates.

June seems to be the consensus, so vote for your preferred weekend - June 6th, 13th or 20th!

And if you have specific comments, can't work, really strong preference, etc., please post in the comments.

Truthfully, all three dates will work for me. I voted for the 6th because as far as I'm concerned, the sooner the better--I am so pumped.

The 6th or 13th work for me. I have a wedding the week after the 20th that I'm in in Denver, so I'd rather not be travelling two weeks in a row and work would probably appreciate it as well :lol:

Any of those dates work for me (altho' I did go ahead and vote for the 6th).

Just a note that Father's Day falls on Sunday, the 21st; so for those that need to hurry home for Dad, the 20th might be tight.

OK, now I am really going to have to rack my brain as to why I was leaning toward the 13th! I'm kind of indifferent ... need to make some calls to work on venues, and maybe that can get things set!

I sooo want to attend as my parents live in Des Moines and I love going back - but my dd graduates from college on the 13th in Chicago and I have a work trip the following week - that is my June quota for traveling - please please keep me in the loop on future plans.

Hmmm....sounds fun but I think I'm still teaching on those dates (okay, well not ON those dates, but you know what I mean). I'll have to check my calendar. If you ever do another one, do it in July or August! :)

I would really, really love to attend. However, it all depneds on when my first grandchild decides to make her appearance. My DD's due date is May 30.
