Anyone in central Iowa interested in getting together for lunch?

I was wondering if any of the Iowans were interested in getting together for lunch to meet and get to know one another? I was thinking of February 7th or 21st in the Des Moines area.

Before I give my two cents, my hubby is going ice fishing the weekend of the 21st, so I will come but it will be closer to 12:30pm (gymnastics in the morning with Delaney), and she will be with me.

My experience with stuff around Jordan Creek is that Saturdays can be incredibly busy, so I would tend to stay away from restaurants in that area.

If the consensus is west, maybe some place like Biaggi's or Granite City, or downtown like Raccoon River, or Star Bar.

I vote for the Palmer's on 50th St. in WDM, quiet & we could probably re-arrange table to suit us if need be. Love their food! Being a Saturday, it shouldn't be too busy, either.

Okay scrappers...it is official. We will meet for lunch on February 21 at 12:30. Judy has voted for Palmers on 50th Street (across from Lowe's) Technically their address is 4949 Westown Parkway, West Des Moines although it faces 50th. Don't ask me! This is close to the Interstate 35-80 (University Avenue Exit east to 50th and then north) and 235 (exit 50th and north a couple blocks).

Can we get a roll call of who plans on coming? In addition, PM me if you would like my cell phone number to call with any questions.
