Oooh this was SO tough, there were several I LOVED, so I tried to pick something I wouldn't normally choose, and I LOVED the bag as inspiration. ;-) So this is it! ;-)

Can't wait to hear your paper ideas! ;-)

I think we should have a BRIGHT pink paper with some of the beige colour as a swirl through it - subtle of course!

One of the two lighter colors with a crumpled look and the green with a scratched up look.

I'd like to see a green gingham

bludlfn003
02-07-2009, 02:15 PM
I think the green paper would look good with a grassy texture. The colors remind me of an early spring not warm yet. The biege/tan colors would look good with a chalky texture I think.

No specific suggestions for the paper, or elements yet- except I could see this kit leaning a bit towards the fun and funky side, to match the bag that the colors are from. Does that make sense?

gorgeous gingham! How about a paper with the same sort of plaid pattern on the bag? I too like the idea of a fun, funky sort of kit.

Wow...I missed adding my color swatch again! But that's Ok cuz there were too many good ones to pick from anyways!
Great gingham paper, Robyn! I wouldn't mind seeing a bright pink paper with some black scratches on it & dirtied up a bit.

A beige background with multi colored stitching, like what's on the bag...don't know how that would look....but it may be interesting.

And maybe a goldish background with stitching...

Sorry I have been a bit slow with this one ladies, has been a busy week, I am hoping to get the paper and a couple of elements done tonight but will be away all day on Saturday (Aussie Time) for my MIL's birthday (yes on Valentines day!).. but will hopefully be able to work on it again Saturday night and Sunday.

So bring on the suggestions and I will get as much as I can done on the kit tonight! :-)

Oh! Wow, those are some GORGEOUS papers! Especially love the last one!

I think. . . a bronze wire corner element in a pattern similar to the one on the cream and blue papers

A bronze satin ribbon, maybe with a slide and dangling end

stitchmich
02-13-2009, 07:50 PM
I would like a wire with some loops in it and a small skinny tag to hang on it, so you could hang a couple of tags on the wire and write a date or name on it. Did that make any sense?

A Satin trim Bronze Ribbon..wasn't sure what you meant about the slide and dangling end, so curled it and left a thread. Is a slide the same as a paperclip??

Oh and thanks for the lovely compliments. :-) I had to fight photoshop for the last paper.. but I wasn't giving up, and eventually I got there. LOL

Siriusone
02-14-2009, 11:18 AM
I agree with sueya, a gold frame with a nice age look to it.

Two of the papers remind me of letterhead making me think maybe a quill and ink bottle.

MurlieMac
02-14-2009, 11:55 AM
Love the papers and the ribbon so far.

Some type of gold metal scroll work to match the scroll work on the papers. Maybe a corner or border, or frame,

I know... a gold frame with the filigree scroll work as a mat with the opening being an oval. Does that make any sense?

Heidi
