Thanks Chris!! I did get confused! LOL! That happens quite often with me!

I can't really draw either...but maybe you can find a clip art on clipart.com and alter it in some way so it looks like the same type of texture as the moon in the kit... (will add this to the BAG thread)

I haven't used clip art for my designs, so I guess I should say I can draw selectively. LOL I was quite proud of my bee in the new kit, totally from scratch. :D Yes I am bragging, but dang it was hard, I deserve to brag. :lol:

I was actually going to sit this week out :shocked::shocked: because I didn't know what photo to use, but then I thought it would work great with a cruise photo, so decided to do it if I could do a plopper. I went over to the BAG thread cuz I had a couple of ideas, then realized I was too late. I've got to get organized or something. All this recreational Valium DS is driving me to take must be affecting my brain :rofl::rofl::rofl: cuz it's definitely not affecting how I'm feeling. :rofl::rofl:

I was so tickled pink to see this kit hit the store! It was absolutely perfect for a recent Festival of Sail event we went down to see where the tall ships come into the San Diego Harbor.

I need to learn layering and masking, had some glitches so I couldnt' figure it out, but the eraser works, too, lol. Not sure if I'll get on again, but after uploading it I think will work a bit more since the lighthouse and the stars are 'aligned' and it looks kinda funny. Always funny how sometmes look 'funny' on the thumbnails- I just 'miss' seeing it when its big:think:

Thanks, i ran out of time to figure things out, but that was one of the ones I tried. I (think) just missed the step to click on the circle after clicking on the line (between the 2 layers) to group it correctly... so I basically just got stuck.

I posted and got some great suggestions to try when I have a bit more time.
DSP is great, thanks for all the help and suggestions! I need to be careful, though, that I don't tweek my layouts forever, since I have 4 years to get caught up with (and that's just to keep up w/ my kids stuff).

I have a suggestion. I suggested it with Lauren during her chat and think it would be a great idea for all designers offering posting bonuses to do. Could you create a thread for layouts created using your bonuses? This way we can show you what we do with your awesome bonuses, and others. If anyone is like me, we participate in the challenges so we can get the bonuses, and then we never get to really use them because we have SO many challenges we're doing. Lauren offered a Feature Friday on her blog. She picks a layout using her bonus from the previous week challenge and posts it on her blog.

Just a suggestion. :)
