... and I'll be up all night watching it (and scrapping as well of course). It is something I look forward to to every year. I simply love movies and this year even a little Danish movie is nominated :yippee: And with Hugh Jackman hosting I'll have no problem staying awake all night :p
So I thought I'd start a little chatter thread in case anyone wanted to share their Oscar night with me - staying up until 6AM can get a little lonely

well, I know I am late to the party, but I have been watching (on DVR, so about an hour behind real time). I think Hugh Jackman has done a great job, and I really love the way they have done the best supporting actress, actor, best actress and best actor nominations. Very touching!!

He did do a great job and I think the whole show was one of the better I've seen

I watched it like I do every year! I love Hugh so that was an added bonus! It certainly was different this year but I liked it. The only thing I don't think went over well was the tribute to musicals...which was okay but could have been a miss. (but did I say Hugh was great!). The way the Oscars was set up this year was a nice change from the sometimes boring ones we have seen in the past. I would have liked to have seem more stars on the red carpet though...and I didn't like the individuals who did the introducing ont the red carpet.

Yeah I know what you mean about the red carpet presenters -and was it just me or was Randolph Duke just a bit more bitter and critical this year.

I didn't see much of it since I was scrapping but was glad to see that Heath Ledger won for Best Supporting Actor. My youngest is a HUGE Batman fan, so I have seen "Dark Knight" several times and he really was amazing in it (although somewhat creepy!). So sad he's no longer with us. :(

Well I was scrapping as well - I put a tv next to the computer so I was entertained during all those commercial breaks
