Thanks Rene :) It will be a minimum of 3 months. He has to finish his "job probation", and be granted full status there, then get an apartment. That's the initial 3 month wait. Then he can apply for a spousal visa... and that can take from 2 weeks to 3 months for the embassy to grant.

San Antonio is in December? Hopefully I will be in Saudi by then, but if not, Well, I have family in Texas I haven't seen in a while... LOL
