all from my yard last summer!

And, I know you wanted "fresh" color schemes, so forgive me for this one. I've only submitted it once, and it wasn't picked, so it's pratically fresh! DH brought home these espresso cups and I just love the colors.

Your garden is beautiful.

LOL yes, it is, and I can claim no credit! The woman we bought our house from had lived there for 60+ years, and she and her husband were both master gardners. It is a source of great embarassment to me that I can't maintain the gardens as well as the 90 year old lady did! We've lived there 6 years now and I'm still finding "surprises" in the garden!

I know exactly what you mean, we bought a house that had been rented out for about 4 years so when we took it over the garden was sadly very neglected and over grown but after clearing the excess weeds etc, boy was it a delight when each new season of that first year continually showed us beautiful surprises. I used to love gardening but I don't get much time for it now :(

Yes, someone could love my garden in some future time; I treasure the plants which survive neglect summer and winter. However it has become so overgrown in the Auckland climate that I think they will bring in a bulldozer as first measure.
I am loving seeing the freshness of the colours in the swatches. :yippee:
