What about a grungy black edge overlay - not too big though
Or a swirlly overlay
I love the wire circle with jewels, so how about a horizontal one with jewels
We need a heart too - how about dark purple with a bit of a black grunge about it, just slightly though.

A piece of the fabric, gathered like it has elastic inside! Don't ask me why that popped into my head, but it did! A dark grey background with swirls done in the purple and teal.
I'm sure I'll think of more!

Great idea Lisa! I love the bunched fabric idea!
And a whole new kit?! Lovin' it! I already did 2 pages with the kit. I couldn't help myself! LOL!

Oh yeah, and a wrinkle overlay, like wrinkled fabric. So we can make our photos look fabric-y...kwim?

How about a black flower with white center. When I was paper scrapping I once found some large black paper flowers I just loved them!

A flower shaped journaling tag.
Please forgive this rookie question! :)
I have purchased this kit and I really enjoy the colors. :)
I want to place the ribbon and/or bow on my layout... however, I notice it already comes with a drop shadow.
Is there any way I can remove that drop shadow so that I may place my own so that it's more consistent with my other drop shadows (photo, mats, etc)?
Again... if this is a rookie question, I'm sorry! :)
LOL, okay I figured it out on my own (I think?!) LOL
I just used the magnetic lasso to extract the ribbon from the background and shadow. I'm sure there was an easier way, so if you still want to share any advice, I appreciate it! :)

Ted, yes you have to erase the drop shadow and then put it back in. Did you see my tutorial about shadows on my blog? (It was the one before this last chop up your picture one.) Sometimes rotate by 90 degrees and flip works great. The biggest reason we put shadows on is that the items themselves have highlights and shadows, especially on metal or something more 3D, so even if you remove the shadow and reapply it, if it is a different orientation than the way it was designed, the drop shadow MIGHT not match the inherent highlights and shadows. I hope that makes sense. Here's the link to the tutorial on my blog. I think it is in the campus too, but I am not finding it at the moment, maybe it hasn't gotten posted yet.

Hope this is the correct place for a suggestion:
I'd like to see a denim patch, perhaps to be used as a photo mat? The denim could coordinate with one of the colors of course.
I realize this is intended for girls, but for some reason many of the colors, IMHO, could even be used for boys... and I think a denim patch would be cool.
May just be the GUY in me. ;)

Beads would be great... any type, but going across the page in a curvy sort of line would be great, or in a bee swirly sort of way..kwim?

I bought that little bug kit and can't wait to play with it! It's so cute Chris!
And I can't wait to see the bonus for this one...but two weeks may be TOO long for me to wait for it! My head may burst from excitement by then! LOL!

OK, more suggestions! A dark background, out of the dark grey, with some sort of swirls, flowers, hearts to go along with the lovely brads with lots of your famously lovely texture. A brad to match the heart on the tag that can be used with the flowers. A frame that uses that purple, or even in the plaid.
Well, that should keep you busy!

Yay!!! Looks FANTASTIC Chris!
Well, my friend Kathleen saw the link and wasn't happy with that picture. :( So I removed it to honor her.
I understand if this no longer qualifies me for the bonus kit.
But I just wanted to explain why the layout was down. :(

pick out a picture or pictures that you want me to use as inspiration, or you can give me a color swatch set. You can either email me the high res ones to begin with, or just upload low res versions to your gallery and give me the link(s). Then if you want me to, I will do a LO for you when the kit is done.

I got them and just so you know, I took your email addy out of your post. The spammers have some sort of software that patrols the web and if it sees an email address, ie the yadayada@isp.com etc, then it snags it and spams the heck out of you.

Thanks for taking my address out. Man, if people would spend the amount of time and energy it takes to spam on something more worthwhile, they could be so successful I bet.
Those photos were taken at Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum at The Venetian in Las Vegas. We had so much fun posing with all the statues and being silly. We entertained ourselves for 2 hours!:rofl: We had been to a wax museum in Dallas before, but you weren't allowed to touch or pose with any of the statues, but here they didn't care and actually encouraged it. (It apparently doesn't take much to amuse us!) :D
