Suggest your fav quotes about children/childhood, and win! It's a whole new type of w/a so, it doesn't matter if I've done the quotes before. They will be this type of w/a

I can only use quotes in the Public Domain (re before 1923) or "author unknown" quotes.

I'll draw a random winner from this thread to win the finished set.

Ah.. I just googled and yes, RL Stevenson is in the public domain. :) His chidren's poems are just so delightful. :) A Child's Garden of Verses.

Oh, I don't know, I love ALL your word art actually. :)

Remember the little things in life...for one day you may look back and realize they were the BIG things.

I think I will be back with more!

Oooh, Tina, I was admiring that in the store today! I think it will be really useful! I'll have to think on that, but I saw a quote on a calender today and thought "I should pass that along":

To get the full value of joy, you must have somebody to divide it with.

although in looking it up, the full quote seems to be:

Grief can take care if itself, but to get the full value of a joy you must have somebody to divide it with.

"Real isn't how you are made," said the Skin Horse. "It's a thing that happens to you. When a child loves you for a long, long time, not just to play with, but REALLY loves you, then you become Real."
