One of our favorite grannies is missing and we're worried about her.

Does anyone know how to contact Carma? We think she is still recuperating at her daughter's but no one has been able to reach her by email. It's really not like her to stay away for this long without letting us know how she is.

If you have any info, will you please PM Freda and me?

Ahhh, sad that a DSP'er has gone missing. I hope she can let everyone know that she is OK!

Here is a thought, since DSP is such a close knit place, and we work just as hard here to build relationships as with people we see everyday ... everyone should have a cyber buddy! Privately share your "real life" information with one or two people that you trust so that if you are missing, your DSP family can find you.

Just a thought!

That is a good idea Kathleen.

I was just thinking about Carma the other day. She sure is missed.

we can't share her personal info for privacy reasons of course, but we can try to contact her to check in on her!

Margie, that would be wonderful. The last time we heard from her she was having health problems and needing to stay with her daughter in another state. We just want to know that she's okay and we want her to know that she's missed.

Freda has been the one to check on Carma but her contact info is now out of date. Hey, the grannies are organized -- we usually don't let people stray too far.

We love our Sunshine and Good Carma and she is sorely missed. I think we need to fly out and track her down! Send out a granny group to bash the bushes and hunt through the swamps. Where is our Sunshine?

My children say that the only way I will ever get a 6th grandchild is to have it myself. So the discussion is now over. :D

People in the GT started calling me omio because it was faster to type. I like it and it's not what my DGKs call me (I'm Omi) so I begged and a sweet little fairy changed it for me. :love2: :love3:

Carma sent me an email back in Novemeber updating me about her health. She sent it to a number of folks, and I've just hit reply all with a message asking them to let her know that we are sending red threads. Hopefully one of them will be a relative or good friend and will respond. Normally I wouldn't send out an email to folks I don't know...but desperate times call for desperate measures!

Smart move, scampy. Everyone on that list must be someone who cares about Carma so maybe one of them is in the same geographic area. I don't usually reply all to strangers, either, but I suspect these people will be touched that you care.

Quick note from work--had an email from Carma's daughter Tracy, and she will let Carma know that we are trying to rope her in. Carma has had some health issues, and is staying with them in Spokane, but had gone home to check on things for a week--her return was delayed due to health. Will also post this in the GT before I get booted at work!

Had another reply from a friend of Carma's when I got home today--said that Carma got the flu whilst in Utah, and is now visiting at her parents and continuing to recover. She called Carma to let her know that we were thinking of her and Carma told her to let us know that she will post when she's back in Spokane and feeling better.

Everyone send warm thoughts and prayers and virtual hugs!
