Lucky Dip Special Birthday Week Challenge - April 1 to April 4


SPECIAL BIRTHDAY WEEK FREEBIE if you use any amount of elements or backgrounds from ANY of my Kits/AOP’s
(please note the change to "any amount" of my stuff to get the freebie, don't think it was very clear that you didn't need to use ALL my stuff, just any of it.) :confused: Sorry!!

This weeks random theme is: ** Birthday Week Math Equation: 5 + 5 + 5 = 15 **

What this means is that we will create a layout using:


5 frames (CAN be ones already grouped as part of a kit or separate ones – MUST have 5 photos)
5 different backgrounds (CAN be used as mats or cut-outs and CAN be blended)
5 different stars (NOT made out of the BG’s as mats or cut-outs and NOT as part of a group in a kit – you CAN take out individual stars from the group but only one towards the five)
15 flowers (all different and separate i.e. NOT already grouped)
All items can be re-coloured and BG’s can be blended, please indicate if you blend BG’s in the comments of your uploaded image


ONLY these items can be used.

If using my kits for this special challenge please list in the comments part of your uploaded image, what elements/backgrounds were used and from which kit.
You MUST have 5 photos
If you choose NOT to participate in the Special Birthday Week Freebie part of this challenge you can use any DSP kit/elements, freebies or from your current stash (must only be DSP products)
Upload your LO to Erica’s Lucky Dips Gallery or if it’s doing extra duty somewhere else I MUST have a link to your LO in this forum.
Please use only DSP products
NO - Ploppers and QC’s for this weeks challenge
Journaling or themed title would be nice but you don’t have to
Your LO can be ANY style, even a none traditional style, a style all your own, in fact, let your hair down and go creatively wild!
Please comment generously on other member’s layouts in this challenge. I know I don’t really need to ask you that because you’re all so good at it anyway.

Ok, I am brain dead, I'm sure. But does this mean we have to use ALL the things listed - 5 frames AND 5 backgrounds AND 15 flowers AND... (you get my drift) in ONE layout? AND does it mean that we can't use ANY other things in that ONE layout BUT the stuff on the list?

In my defense, I do understand that I have to use 5 photos. :)

Yes all items on the list :) and no only these items can be used. But you can do a two pager - hope this helps?

If a star element has say 10 stars in it can that element count as 1 star or do you want us to cut out just one star from the 10 start element and just that as one star? Hope this makes sense.

Hmmm...so you would have the grouped one of say 10 stars plus another 4 individual stars making 5 you mean? That would really make it 14 stars on the page though wouldn't it and so the equation is out - what to do, what to do!!! :think::think: I think we'll stick to the 5 stars only ;)

Ok...here is mine. I have to be honest and say I have never been so glad to finish a LO before! Whew!!!

For the papers I blended the CloudyDay from Sweet As Apple Pie by Erica Belton with the TanCanvas from Fairy Dreams by Nicole Young to make the 1 paper. The other 3 - are as is from Wildflower Meadow by Lauren Bavin.

I used 5 different stars and 15 different flowers.

Oh my! And I'm still too late! LOL. Well, I just wanted you to see what you inspired! I ended up taking some of the flowers and stars out! Just could not get them to coordinate! And since I knew I was late any way, I fudged a little. But here it is, none the less!
