Help with ACDSee Pro 2.5

On my old computer I had an earlier version of ACDSee Pro. I set up catergories for DSP Kits, Ploppers, QCs etc and had a thumbnail of the preview sheet for each kit on display. This made it so easy to browse and make selections when I was planning a layout.

On My new computer I have ACDSee Pro 2.5 and I am having great difficulty in doing the same thing. How do I get the preview sheets from MY DOCS to ACDSee? I am probably making some silly mistake but at present it just isn't happening! Grrrr!!

I am not sure if I follow 100%... but that's just me. ;)

You have previews of your contacts sheets. Currently, they are located in your My Documents Folder?
You most likely have your My Docs folder as an excluded Folder. It will have the red circle/line through it on your folder tree.

What I would do- would be to move (or copy) those files into wherever you have your scrapping supplies stored.

Esee, if you want to check whether you have your My Docs exculded - it is > Tool|Options (or ALT-O) to open your options, > Database (list on the left) > Excluded Folders button on the right for the database options.

If its not excluded (ie you can view the files when you browse to the folder where they are stored) have they not maybe become uncatogorized?
