Hi guys! I just wanted to share an artscow code that I just got from a friend. It wasn't in an email or anything.
freegifts
I couldn't tell everything it added to my credits, but I know for sure I got
- 30 8x8 books (seriously, 30!)
- 30 12x12 books
- 10 single design playing cards
- 10 54 design playing cards
- t shirts
- magnets
- buttons
- dog tags
I'm sure there's more stuff that I'm missing. . .
If you aren't familiar with artscow it's a printing site out of Hong Kong. Their stuff is free or cheap and you pay for shipping. A 8x8, 20 page book costs $8 to ship, for example.
The playing cards are really cool and you can do tons of things with them. Lauren has a few instant albums in the store that use these cards. Since you can get the cards printed without the card design on them (clubs, diamonds, etc) there are a lot of possibilities.
I made my kids a memory game (that they can also play old maid with) out of pictures of themselves and our family. I'm going to make a cousins edition of the game for gifts for my nieces and nephews for Christmas.
Another thing I'm going to make out of the cards is lunch box notes for my daughter. You could also use them for ATC cards.
I'm doing most of my Christmas gifts using codes from artscow and I think my family will love them!
Anyhow, you can sign up for artscow here (http://www.artscow.com/?Ref=530134)
