I think it would be fairly easy to make some brushes for PSP, but the things I need to know is how to save them so they will be there when I want to use them. I have read the tutorial, but didn't get this part.

Brushes are easy peasy! Once you get an image you want to save as a brush, go to:
File > Export > Custom Brush
It "should" end up in your default brush folder. It does have to be a certain size depending on your version, but if it's too big, it will give you an error message telling you how big it can be.

I'm working right now - if no one else jumps in with a tutorial or some assistance, I'll try to put something together about scripts. What are you trying to accomplish with a script, anything in particular?
