Question about black&white photo

After I take the color photo using photoshop I change it to black&white photo will it affect the quality of the photo.

No, like Karen said... However, you will want to save the black and white image as a new image and not overwrite your original color image. If you save the original as a black and white, you cannot recover the color again.
