When I first started digi scrapping in January, I automatically downloaded to a file on my laptop (I use it for everything). When my computer started running slow I transferred all of my downloads to my 4GB USB drive in order to make room on the laptop. With all of my downloads I have used about 3GB just for downloads, so my question would be what do you think is the best way to transfer to CD? I'm thinking of it in two ways, I could either transfer by designer, that way later on I could add whatever I download at a later date onto the same CD, I have a RW burner so that would be no problem, or I could just transfer everything at one time onto however may CDs it may take.

I know about external HDs but right now is not the time to buy one for me because I don't have the money but I do have the CDs which is why I am asking.
Waht do you all think?

I think either way is fine. Whatever would work best for you. I think the key here is that you need to print out contact sheets whichever way you choose so you know what you have.

I think most people, including me, use EHD and maybe that is why you haven't gotten any responses.

I don't really have a suggestion specifically how I think you should do it. My suggestion though is to pick a way that seems most logical and comfortable for you and stick to that method. That way you won't ever be confused on how you are doing it. Also, I have read about people who do use CD/DVD's and they often print out contact sheets (i think that is what they are called) that shows what is on that CD/DVD.
