Are you ready for the next Graphically Challenged? :yahoo:
For the May Graphically Challenged I have another tutorial for you.
The Tutorial utilises the Diffuse Glow filter in photoshop to give your photos a dreamy look.
Click here to view the Photoshop Tutorial (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/freebies/Robyn/DreamyPhoto.pdf) (it will soon be in the DSU tutorials section)
There is also a PSP tutorial on creating Dreamy Photos (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/university/tutorials/PSP_DreamyPhotoEP.shtml)which you can check out here. (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/university/tutorials/PSP_DreamyPhotoEP.shtml)
This months challenge is to give your graphic style page a DREAMY LOOK. How you choose to do this is up to you.
The Rules
You must use a DSP product (or lots and lots of products) in your layout. This can be store purchased, freebies, etc.
You must have your layout in the Graphically Challenged with Robyn (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=6698) gallery by midnight on the 31st of May in order to be eligible for the drawing.
You must link back in this thread, so that I can grab a random winner from this thread.
What can you win?
One person will be randomly chosen at the end of the month and will receive a $3.99 store coupon! :drumroll:
Looking forward to seeing what you all come up with! Lets get blending!! You can get your Graphically Challenged Flair Here (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=36564)!

Robyn, I will take a look at the tutorial in the morning and write an adaptation for the PSE users. Its usually a matter of figuring out where they put things.
Thanks for another great month!

Oh thanks so much! That would be FABULOUS!!! I still haven't had a chance to play with the version of PSE I have yet, I can't remember which one it is but it came with my scanner. I think it might be version 6. I am going to install it on my daughters computer soon so I suspect I will be getting to know it better soon! LOL
I might be able to do a dreamy page .... might use some VP filters though .... yeah I'm lazy. LOL

Ok, Here is one on a nature LO:
http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/data/6698/thumbs/FlowerGraphiclopost.jpg
Butterfly Garden (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=317212)
Diffuse Glow set to 6, 1 8
Fade Diffuse Glow 70% Normal
What this allowed me to do... was to recover this photo... it was shot in full sunlight...
And, with the diffuse glow.. I was able to get rid of the dappled shadows on parts on the photo... worked great!
Ok, here's another take on the Diffuse Glow Challenge: I took the Layout from Above and ran the Diffuse glow on the entire layout
giving it a more dreamy effect.
Diffuse glow settings
Diffuse Glow set to 7, 3, 15
Fade Diffuse Glow 70% Normal
http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/data/6698/thumbs/FlowerGraphiclo2post.jpg
Butterfly Garden Version 2 (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=317955
)
So, one Crisp Clean lines... the other more dreamy I think...
