We're in the country ... I'm not kidding, the cows outnumber the people here!! So all my layouts are still virtual, and I'd love to see a few printed to get a better feel for my work on paper. Costco's prices, from what I've seen, are amazing. We're headed out to San Antonio in a few weeks, and I'm thinking of trying to get prints done while I'm there -- can they be done in an hour, or is this a lengthy process for the large prints? (the 12x18s I keep hearing about!) Also, can I have prints made if I'm not a member (with a surcharge, I'm sure!). We're just not close enough to one to make a membership pay off!

Thanks, I appreciate any help. I'll burn a CD and get prints made if I can do this; if not, I'll have to try online somewhere.

I doubt it, it would be like asking to buy anything from the store without a membership. You could always call & ask though. You can get the number to your local one from their website.

I bet you can. I know BJs lets you shop there, but they charge you 10% more. I'm sure Costco has some similar option. Check it out if you are going to be nearby anyway.

I'm pretty sure that Costco has a one day guest shopping pass that you can get at the membership desk. I don't know if the large prints can be done in one day, though. If not you could still stock up on green beans and toilet paper and it would be worth the trip. :) We are Costco-aholics but now we live in a non-Costco area. I miss it!
