Are you ready for the next Graphically Challenged? :yahoo: :yippee:

For the June Graphically Challenged I have another tutorial for you.

The Tutorial explains two different ways to recolour your photos in photoshop. sometimes changing the colour of your photos and making them monochrome can really make it much easier to make them look good with a kit. Particularly if there are lots of different colours in your photo/s.

Click here to view the Photoshop Tutorial (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/university/tutorials/ps_makingphotospop/ps_photospop_rg.shtml)
I don't have a PSP tutorial and not sure whether PSE is similar, please do let me know if you have any tips for other software to do similar changes.

This months challenge is to give at least one of your photos a monochrome look, whether or not that includes a sepia or other coloured tone on that image. How you choose to do this is up to you.

The Rules
You must use a DSP product (or lots and lots of products :D) in your layout. This can be store purchased, freebies, etc.
You must have your layout in the Graphically Challenged with Robyn (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=6698) gallery by midnight on the 30th of June in order to be eligible for the drawing.
You must link back in this thread, so that I can grab a random winner from this thread.
What can you win?
One person will be randomly chosen at the end of the month and will receive a $3.99 store coupon! :drumroll:

Looking forward to seeing what you all come up with! Lets get blending!! You can get your Graphically Challenged Flair Here (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=36564)! __________________

I also use PSP 9 and you can do similar in that program:

1. Open image.
2. Go to Effects/Effects Browser
3. From the menu choose Hue Saturation then Colorize.
4. Select the tone you like.

For sepia:

1. Open image.
2. Effects/Artistic Effects/Sepia Toning.

and also:

1. Open image.
2. Effects/Artistic Effects/Aged Newspaper.

I want to apologize, I got excited over doing scrapping again last month and didn't clearly read the rules. I didn't realize that I was supposed to use a DSP product. So, obviously my layout shouldn't be a part of this thread. I am sorry. I will read the rules better from now on. Thank you for understanding.
