View Full Version : Summer Scrapping Goals
As school winds down (4 more days, 4 more days!!! :yahoo:), I have begun to think about what I want to accomplish this summer. What are my scrapping goals for the summer?
I have so many to choose from: organization, printing books/pages, finishing albums, etc. I'm not sure what I want to focus on yet.
How about you guys? Anyone else going to set some scrapping goals specifically for the summer (well, summer if you live where I do...winter for the rest of you!)?

Well not the summer - cause its winter here - but my goal is to get at least some of the 2000 photos from Margies trip here scrapped!!!!!
I just found out that Artscow do 100 page photo books - I think I might get my P365 album printed - I think it will take 2 100 page books more or less - - but wouldnt it be cool to have a whole year in 2 small books!!!!!!!

my summer scrapping goal is to complete my son's 1st year (0-12mos) album before he turns 3 in July! ACK! I've made great strides I have over 20 pages now and i'm not done but getting close.
It has been really helpful to have a deadline to work towards and to have the goal of completing this album as a focus of my scrapping efforts.
I used to just wander into PSCS2 and say oh what do I want to scrap today. And now that I've set these goals I don't wander. I have a little flexibility with the pictures i's just 1 year to pick from and then I start scrapping.
I'm really seeing my creativity blossom with the structure. Instead of waiting for "inspiration" in finding the pictures to work with then finding the kits or finding the kits and then matching up a picture. I narrow down the thousands of pictures to 1 year. It's been neat to see "inspiration" coming more easily and the perfectionism & procrastination falling to the wayside.
And in the past week I've done 5 layouts!! That's a lot for me! Anywho....I'm loving the scrapolution it's working for me!!

Hmm... found this via a search on Artscow. I don't have any summer goals because, well, summer vacation is officially over for me in 10 hours and 40 minutes.
Seriously, though. I make a mish-mosh of layouts, none of which really go with each other. I have a quasi book made up of different layouts that I print at Costco and then adhere into a binder. I have to give myself a goal to make an album. I think it will be a Chance album, especially since he is my most scrapped subject.
