If we are doing pink or perhaps black, we need something foofie (foofy?)fluffly/fuzzy.
This reminds me of white poodles, however seeming obvious(chains).Maybe a poodle charm. Some dog bling.I'm sure we will all be happy and pleased as usual!

How about a glittery edge overlay or a overlay that is like a starburst, like rays shining out. (does that make any sense?)

how about a grey or white patterned (paisley is always nice) paper...

don't get me wrong I love the pink but how about something completely unexpected (like patterned paper) in lime green? or another bright color...

Hmmm... I don't usually do the challenges with super girly kits :P, but because I have family members who love to shop, and because it's you, Christine :)

Here's my suggestions (a little late, I know):

I love the idea for the wordart "Born to $hop"

And following that theme...How's about a paper shopping bag???
