When I save my Layouts, I always save twice. One to save full resolution, and then once for the web. Is it going to hurt what I've uploaded to my gallery if I delete my save for web versions off of my computer?

No it wont hurt - once its uploaded you dont need it again for the site - but it doesnt take up much room either - I keep mine just in case I want to put it somewhere else or send it by email to someone

I do that same thing (save for web and for printing). I tend to keep mine. I have my ipod sync to the save for web folder so I end up with my web sized layouts on there too :)

And I actually have three copies of every layout - the original file with layers, the web-sized version, and the one I print from.

Me too Tara - although I might have to purge some of the PSDs soon to save some space. Just remember to back up!!! I have had two hard disk crashes in the last year and it is not fun.

Me too Sharon! (Had two hard drives fail in the last year, that is!) Luckily, I back everything up on DVD. Sadly, I had done some major reorganization and hadn't backed up the organized version of my stuff...so now I'm stuck reorganizing all over again. Hopefully this time I can get the organized version backed up before something crashes!

I like you guys do the same thing, 1 web size, 1 full size Jpeg, 1 psd file. The psd and jpegs live in the same file and the web size lives in a separate file. I find I go back to the psd/jpeg file often and I have a copy of that file on both of my EHD's just in case as I do all my DSP files. I still want to copy the psd/jpeg files to DVD's................when I get time.
