Challenge 2 – Simon Says Challenge – July 20 to August 2

***Lucky Dips is a monthly Collect A Kit Challenge ***
You can win a free kit just by following the rules and playing along by completing the 2 challenges for this month.

You have one nominated product that has additional matching products, you can use any or all of them for this challenge:

Darcy Kit (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_18&products_id=8773), Darcy AOP (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_18&products_id=9035) and Darcy Back Pack (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_18&products_id=9075). If you don’t already have any of them you can purchase by clicking the links.

Scroll down for instructions.

Here is the Collect a Kit you will win by entering both challenges using the nominated products for July Lucky Dips.

Nominated products are:
Darcy Kit (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_18&products_id=8773), Darcy AOP (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_18&products_id=9035) and Darcy Back Pack (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_18&products_id=9075). If you don’t already have any of them you can purchase by clicking the links. If you don’t want the free kit but still want to play along you can use any of our great DSP products. BUT you wont get the free kit.

Note: I will accept a small amount of other DSP product but the LO has to be predominantly the nominated product/s

Instructions:

**Simon Says** Prompt:

Traditional Paper Style - Where the LO design really represents the look and feel of a traditional paper layout. Layering and shadowing are important components in making a digital LO look like realistic paper scrapping
Use 3 oblong/rectangle shapes – these can include photos and frames (NO circles, triangles or squares etc)

Use 2 or more Photos

You can cut, crop, blend and re-colour all/any of the items to make new shapes or elements in keeping with the rules. i.e. NO circles etc.

Place your LO’s in Erica’s Lucky Dips Gallery (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/../gallery/showgallery.php?cat=6498) or if it’s doing double/triple duty elsewhere I will need a link to your LO in this forum.

Some really simple rules:

Please use only DSP products – nominated product or other.
Style prompt to use is ‘Traditional Paper Style’ (see rules above)
Please put your LO in the Erica’s Lucky Dips Gallery if possible or if doing double/triple duty a link in this forum, especially if you intend to do both challenges. (How will I know to include you in the draw otherwise)
Please comment generously on other member’s layouts in this challenge. I know I don’t really need to ask you that because you’re all so good at it anyway.
Have FUN

If anything is not clear please just ask any questions here :)

This sounds like fun, and I just happen to have purchased both the "Darcy" kit and the add-on in one of the recent sales. I can't wait to use them!

Here is my go for this challenge. I hope it resembles a paper style LO.

Here's mine--I was thinking about something way different for a layout using these kits, but I liked how these low tide pics worked out.

Hmmmm. . . . well, I like the layout, but I think I may have interpreted the rules a bit loosely. . .
