You are working on a LO as I have been for the past hour and you get the, this program has encountered errors pop up window and you have to shut the program down only to realize you haven't saved your project at all?

Yes I have been working on a LO for the past hour. Mind you it was a very good one and I was quite proud of it only to have that stupid window pop up.

Ok my little vent is done now! :D

Ohhh I sure do hate that! After long and bitter experience, I've almost trained myself to hit control+save nearly every time I do anything at all!

I have been there as well and like Abby I am now in auto save. Any major thing I do [esp journaling] I will save before I do it and after just in case.
Really feel for you though because I do forget on occasion and have to re-do lots of my LO.

I hate when that happens. I try to Save a lot, but nearly enough as I should.

Saving is like backing up, you do it faithfully after a disaster or near disaster, but then you become complacent and forget... then when you least expect it IT STRIKES AGAIN.

I usually hit save all the time and for some reason just didn't think about it this time.

I used to never save my LOs... I'd work from start to finish.... then I came in here and read stories about saving and I thought.. huh, that's a good idea.. and it has saved me a headache or two already.

Then out of nowhere, I am editing a LO and my PSE freezes when I try to change a font... and I loose all of my work. and I said to myself.. well, now why did I not save it? <sigh>

so sorry that it happened to you. we do understand! Just remember to save save save!

Its always the time you HAVENT saved - cause you got so involved in what you were doing - that Photoshop seems to KNOW and goes - " Ha!!!!!!!- Im going to teach her a lesson!!!!!!!!!!!!" - I know exactly how you feel - its happened to me on more than one occasion
