To help with commenting on a LO, think about the following aspects of the design:

* I only request no DET/Designers, so we don't feel inadequate in the presence of your awesome LOs, but of course, ANYONE may comment, as long as it is honest and constructive :think:, which is what the people come to the thread for.:applause:

I must tell you, I am horrible at cc's. I just don't see them (except for when they are painfully obvious, like a horribly out of focus photo or giant floating elements from wacky shadows). I do think cc's are something that can be learned, but I never see them often enough to pick up on them.

I absolutely want critical cc's and advice.

Lol, we are all non-professionals at cc, but I think it's good because sometimes it just doesn't stare us in the face.....though my Easter one did and I knew it..

Sabina, my first thought when I looked at the LO was to duplicate the fence across the bottom of the LO. It might give it better balance.

sabina, when I extract I am usually, at least for hair, at about 500% magnification. You can really see every strand that far in. I use my polygon tool and crop along the lines, feathering the selection when I am done. for hair, I crop just inside the hair, so when I feather it doesn't pick up the background. will that help?

I have a third idea for the Qaaba LO, I will work on it after a while. I need to get a few things written up first, so something. but I think I have an idea. ok I do. forget writing, dang it, now I need to go scrap LOL

lol, lol, too funny. I will work on the hair. Thank goodness, it's easy to play with the Alpha, but the hair is another matter, of course....grrrrrr. (growling).....grrrrrr. Stupid layout, hahaaaaaa. But I am stubborn....the layout will be done one way or the other.
